Portable Nespresso Coffee Machine Lattissima Coffee Maker Review

The Lattissima is a Nespresso machine that takes brewing one-touch to the next level. It can make lungo and espresso in under an hour, and can accept a wide range of capsules from the company.

The machine can also be programmed to make the exact size of drink you desire. This is a great feature for busy households.

Easy to use

This basic, black pink nespresso machine machine is simple to operate and maintain. It is simple and minimalist in appearance, portable Nespresso coffee machine with just one button that controls everything from powering to rinsing to brewing. Simply remove the lid, place in a capsule and click to start making coffee. It is quick to heat up and offers a variety of drinks, including a double espresso or 5-, 8- or 18-ounce coffees. It even comes with a steaming wand for making a delicious milk texture for your drinks. We like the compact design and easy-to-use interface, however, we noticed that the machine doesn't make the same quality of espresso or coffee as some models that are more expensive. It's also not as easy to recycle capsules like other machines we tried. This Nespresso was not the top choice in our side-byside test for these reasons.

Quick to brew

The Nespresso machine brews a cup of coffee in around 15 seconds. The heated water from the reservoir flows through a pump before it penetrates tiny holes in the top of the coffee pod. It is then mixed with the ground coffee inside and drips into your cup. The machine made an intense, delicious espresso with just a hint of bite when we tried it with Jones Brothers and Bestpresso coffee capsules. We tried whole, almond and 2% milks, and all of them worked well.

Easy to clean

It is essential to clean a Nespresso machine regularly, both inside and out. This keeps the machine in good order and ensure its security. It also enhances the flavor of your coffee. You can clean your Nespresso using a variety of cleaners, including vinegar. It is recommended to use a descaling agent instead of vinegar, since it could damage your machine.

To clean your Nespresso machine, begin by removing all the pods and cleaning the drip tray and capsule container. Fill the sink with warm water and add a few drops of dish soap. Let the drip tray or capsule container soak for a few minutes in the soapy solution to loosen any gunk or stains. Rinse them with hot water, then employ a non-abrasive sponge or cloth to scrub off any residues or stains. After scrubbing the drip tray and capsule containers, rinse them again and allow them to completely dry before returning them to your machine.

When your machine is clean and descaled, it's time to clean it. Follow the steps in your user's manual to follow a specific procedure. You can also create your own DIY descaling solution by using white vinegar or citric acid. If you're using vinegar be sure to make use of white vinegar instead of balsamic or apple vinegar, since they are too harsh for this purpose.
