Best Self-Empting Robot Vacuums and Mops

The i7 is also built better, feels more durable and robust, has lower maintenance requirements, has lower costs for recurring expenses, is faster to charge, and offers comparable battery performance, and offers far more advanced automation features such as no-go zones and the capability to choose specific rooms for a clean.

iRobot j7+

This robotic mop and vacuum combo is a rare beast that can do both tasks well. iRobot Combo j7+ has all the features and smarts of its j7 equivalent, including LiDAR map and self-emptying. However, it also has additional features for mopping and vacuuming.

The new acoustic sensors assist the j7+ recognize flooring types, meaning it can decide between vacuuming and mopping during the first time it passes through the room. It also makes use of this information to prioritize cleaning rooms with carpets and rug flooring over rooms with hard floors.
